Process of making Rockdoor composite doors

One of the strongest composite doors available, the Rockdoor models are designed to securely give homeowners peace of mind. A high-density core is used instead of timber to help provide a 60% increase in strength when compared to a standard composite door. The Rockdoor composite doors are even able to be made up to four times stronger through the use of steel mesh. The designs are made through combining uPVC skins with aluminium moulds, which help to give the skins a realistic timber effect, fusing the classic wooden aesthetic with modern technology.

UPVC profiles are cut to measure perfectly within the inner frame, with carbon fibre used to reinforce. Handmade glass designs, designed to customer’s specifications, are fused into the door through the S-Glaze technology. The multipoint hook locks are fitted into the door, meaning that the sash cannot be forcibly pulled from the frame once it has been installed. A cylinder lock is installed along with a cylinder protector, which helps to protect the lock if under attack.
